Professional Experience:
- Rock joined Baylor University in 2001 and is Associate Vice President of Real Estate Operations. His responsibilities are complex and run the gamut from buying and selling real estate on behalf of Baylor University as well as overseeing the leases of commercial, retail, research, clinical, residential, and other space where Baylor University serves as landlord or tenant.
- Rock works with Baylor University’s senior leadership to develop strategies for real estate development. These include activities such as: evaluating financial feasibility, developing sophisticated market analyses, and proposing alternative project development methods.
- Rock has negotiated and closed several hundred commercial and residential transactions during his career and holds real estate broker licenses in Texas and Florida.
- Rock has diverse business work experience, including positions at Baylor University, Columbia HCA hospitals, and the Waco Housing Authority.
